It's unbelievable that no other apps (that I can find) are made to transfer contacts INTO your device but this one does it. It was hard for me to figure out the ftp protocol but once I did (and once I figured out the field mapping via trial & error) it works great!

This app saved me. All my contacts were listed at least 4 times. I spent about 30 min to delete 100 contacts before I found this app. I do recommend this app. It took me less than 10 min to delete over 600 contacts. Thank you.

Very cool. I can clean up my address book on my iphone in one go. The contacts keep on accumulating & there is no easy way to delete contacts from iphone address book in one go. This app allows me to delete all the contacts in one go.

The intital version had some bugs in it, but the latest revision seems to have fixed all of them. The interface for cleaning out contacts as indeed a lot better than what comes with the built-in contacts app, especially if there is a lot of cleaning up to do.

I hade over 900 duplicate contacts. There was no way i was going to manually delete them. I can't Believe there's no way to do this in iTune. I deleted the dups on my address located on my mac but every time I'd sync my iPhone the dups would come back.:( I read the bad reviews about this app but I was desperate. I figured since I hade a back up of my contacts on my mac, I would go ahead and take my chance. I'm Glad i did! In a matter of 30 seconds, the app successfully deleted all my contacts, and I was able to sync my backup file of contacts thru iTune. I was impressed considering I tried absolutely everything to fix this manually (well everything to avoid manually deleting contacts and group one by one). If you want to delete all you contacts effortlessly, with just one click, this is the app to buy!! I didn't try the option of selecting multiple conta...

There are azillion de-duplicate contact app out there - all w mixed reviews. kudos to this developer for showing u what duplicates it's going to delete & letting u decide if this is what u want b4 u spend yr hard earnt cents!
All the results look great-I won't buy the paid app til it recognizes a few of my duplicate have different images
What would also be awesome is an app that did both deleting of exact matches & an optional merge. Most of the time i just want to remove exact duplicates (like this app)and an accasional merge (but not as frequently since it is potentially destructive)
Pls notify me when u fix the bug or if u make the enhancement to toggle an optional merge!
